Clevver NOW

Clevver Now is the ultimate destination for pop culture for millennials, offering quirky, authentic opinions on entertainment, celebrities, and trends on Verizon’s Go90 video platform. Culture-obsessed hosts bring it every episode with on-point countdowns, outrageous original games, the latest beauty trends, and all the relatable real talk you can handle.

Working with the showrunners and Verizon, I created a colorful and quippy visual system inspired by the 💯 emoji and youth culture. To promote the launch of Clevver Now on Verizon’s new mobile platform, I also created a sizzle reel that was featured during the 2016 Digital Content Newfronts.

Process

Like all projects, after receiving a brief, I start with populating a mood board for myself and the client to establish a common understanding and visual vocabulary. Sketches and comps are presented to the client a number of times during the feedback loop before approving a final direction.
